WHO RUNS CHANGE CONFERENCE?
Change Conference is hosted and organized by the Change Conference Team. The Change Conf Team loves the youth of Canada and values the incredible work of youth leaders. Our vision is for every youth in Canada to hear, respond and live out the message of Jesus in their lives. Change Conference is a ministry under Youth for Christ Canada.
WHO IS YOUTH FOR CHRIST CANADA?
Youth for Christ sees the hope and potential in every young person we meet and we reach them through community specific programs. We believe that transformed youth have the opportunity to transform communities, our country and the world. YFC engages and equips youth to know and follow Jesus.
WHAT IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE/AGE GROUP FOR CHANGE CONFERENCE?
Our target audience is Jr. High and High school age young people.
WHO NEEDS TO REGISTER & HOW DOES TICKETING WORK?
Everyone attending Change Conference – students, youth leaders, and chaperones – are required to register and have their own ticket. Tickets can be purchased online by a youth leader, parent, or student. For the simplest registration experience, we recommend that youth leaders register their group together, though individual registrations are also available.
Students under the age of 18 must attend with an accompanying youth leader or designated chaperone. All tickets will be scanned at the door upon entry.
CAN YOUTH ATTEND WITHOUT A CHAPERONE?
We ask that all attendees under the age of 18 attend the conference with a chaperone. Attendees are the responsibility of their youth leader and/or parent that they attend the event with.
HOW DOES CHAPERONING WORK?
Students attending Change Conference remain under the care of their church’s designated chaperones throughout the event. Since each church may have its own policies regarding supervision and adult-to-student ratios, we recommend following your church’s guidelines for both travel and participation at the conference.
HOW DO I FEED MY GROUP AND WHERE SHOULD WE STAY?
Meals and accommodations are the responsibility of the leaders and attendees. To make this nice and easy, we’ve compiled a list of convenient options! Check out our food & accommodations page for a list of great ideas.
CAN I VOLUNTEER?
Of course! We have the BEST volunteer team! Please fill out our volunteer form and we’ll go from there. We’d love to meet you!
WILL THERE BE MERCH AVAILABLE?
Yes! We will have our latest merch collection available for purchase. We accept cash, credit and debit. Make sure to pick up your merch onsite as it will not be available online!
HOW DOES PARKING & ARRIVAL WORK?
Parking is free at all Change Conference events. Doors open between 6:00pm and 6:30pm depending on the venue. Upon arrival, our parking team will direct you to the appropriate drop-off or parking area.
Each venue has designated drop-off spaces, and buses will be directed by a parking attendant to their designated unloading and parking area upon arrival.
We recommend arriving early to give your group plenty of time to unload, have tickets scanned, complete bag check, and get inside on time for the event.
