Our Ministry Model How We Do What We Do
Reaching Students
We strive to reach as many students between the ages of 13-18 as possible. These students are forming their identity and values and most face significant challenges, including addiction, mental health struggles, identity confusion, and broken families. Change Conference temporarily suspends the routine of their daily lives, and provides a safe, uninterrupted space before adulthood where they can encounter the hope and truth of Jesus.

Empowering Students to Share the Gospel
We are equipping the next generation to share the Gospel with their peers. Research shows that the most effective way to reach students is through other students. On the second day of Change Conference (Saturday), our focus shifts to going deeper. Having made a decision for Jesus, students are now ready to explore what comes next. Students are challenged and empowered to take the Gospel into their schools and communities and share it with their friends.

Ensuring Discipleship
To ensure that all students who make a decision for Jesus receive the proper follow-up, discipleship, and care, we have designed a three-step follow-up process:
Step 1 – Communicating with Youth Leaders:
We host a Leaders Meeting at each event to explain the follow-up process and inform leaders about the decision time. Leaders are made aware that every student carrying a follow-up bag has made a decision and will need additional support.
Step 2 – Distributing Follow-Up Bags:
Each follow-up bag contains a Bible and a Follow-Up Guide with answers to questions about who Jesus is and the next steps in faith. A follow-up video is shown to guide students on how to engage with their new Bible and use the resources in their bags.
Step 3 – Follow-Up for Discipleship:
The follow-up bag signals to youth leaders that they need to engage with the student and ensure discipleship continues at their home or local church.
Through boldly sharing the Gospel, empowering students to reach their friends, and ensuring discipleship with youth leaders, this ministry model is reaching the youth of this nation, creating lasting impact for years to come.
